Running Assessments
Why Have a Running Assessment?
Many people have running assessments for different reasons, listed below are a few examples:
- Runners who want to improve their performance or running style,
- Runners who have recurrent injuries,
- Runners wanting advice on the best trainers to wear for their type of foot.
Running injuries are a very common sporting problem. Sometimes running injuries occur when the person does not warm up prior to going for a run, sometimes the pain can be from the way the heel strikes the floor, or regarding a leg length discrepancy or many other pain related conditions. Pain may be a dull ache or sharp pain depending on the injury and condition.
